Prayer. what i've learnt...

It's about [praising] GOD, not about you.

It gives insight to GOD's wisdom, defend against temptation, and gives power to work miracles.

It's the key to prosperity.

Warning:

It's long...

It's boring...

It's Low-Fi...

But it's got something to do with JFK.

Prior to WWII - phrase bank.

Moving to war…

·      Failure to Disarm

o   [due to mistrust, fixed aims, rather than mutual confidence]

o   Led to rearmament

·      Disunited Europe on view of Authoritarian Regimes

o   Fear of spread of communism

o   Fear of spread of authoritarian regimes

German’s foreign policy – brief.

Aimed at rearmament, bound to lead to war.

Left LoN in 1933

Spanish Civil war showed the strength of German forces, Democratic nations started to ramp up rearmament.

Protectionism

Forming alliances

German’s foreign policy made things worse?

Racist, Berlin Olympics, Expansion, Superiority of Aryans = entitled to do what it wanted? Spanish Civil War, avoid war, step by step takeover of Europe

Appeasement

Avoid war by satisfying German demands, ToV unfair so resentment is fair, France had Maginot line of defence so they felt safe, death toll of WWI not to be repeated, No rearmament plans yet for other countries.

Munich Agreement

Fear of antagonising Hitler by waging war on Germany. Peace was preserved, but Czechoslovakia paid the price

German invaded rest of Czech.  [purification / rid of non-Aryans, land, resources]

Appeasement over. Rearmament.
