here's d mid year exam marks which i have so far...
EL: 64.5%
A Math: 88.75% or 71/80
E Math: 88%
Chem: 80% or 68/85
Hist: 60% or 30/50
Bio: 74% (unconfirmed)
HCl: 44.75%
I know that was expected... or surprising... or whatever u thought...
anyway, f*** larh... i failed HCl MYE 2 yrs in a row... that's not very good... and worse still, i have to sit for my 'O's this year... must get A or i have to drop... 怎么办呢？我真的不知所措... seriously.
anyway, i think i'm getting lots of weird patterns from this MYE... allow me to elaborate...
E Math: i had 44 for section A and 45 for section B... but there was an addition mistake on the teacher's part, so it became from 44+45=89 to 44+44=88...
read the numbers... 44...44...88... means anything? and how did i get d same marks for 2 papers? that's quite rare...
then there's EL...
i had this combo for paper 1: 20/30 for Section A, 22/30 for Section B... similar to Reuben (index 30, sitting next to me.)
for paper 2, i had: 14/25 for Section A, 15.5 for section B... same as Jasper Yee (index 43, sitting on my left)
my overall for el in % was 64.5%... the same as John Sng... sitting somewhere in my row (dun really know his index)
now, if this was a maths olympiad Q... and the tables were arranged such that there were 6 in a row arranged according to index no. in a zigzag pattern... and Jasper is sitting on the seat of index 42...
a) What is MY index number?
b) Who was sharing a seat...
i) during the exam?
ii) during the checking of papers?
The answers will come eventually as an omen...
o, btw, Jasper Yee got d same History marks as me... what abt. Art???
